Super Moms and Super Moons

Beautiful skies over the park

Mommy Milk Bar!

Monday, Nov 14.  Feel much better this am.  Ready to tackle another day!  Extra hot and humid.  I walked a couple of dogs then Vicky and I got several cases done this am.
The weaning of the puppies is having a few glitches, one of the moms is able to climb into the puppie kennel.  But overall it is going well.  More puppies due tonight.

Snuggle after breakfast.
We had some consults on hospital cases, got several x-rays done.  Digital radiography here!!
A little shell shock!  One of the darling new puppies.

The puppies arrived this evening. Eight little cuties.  No mommy.  But the pups are 6-7 weeks old and eating well.  Lucie got them settled into their new living quarters, got them fed and they all crashed for a nice nap.  Tomorrow they will all get their puppy exams and deworming.  Get ready for more cuteness!

The new volunteers are a bit overwhelmed, (like I was!!) but doing well.  They will quickly get the hang of caring for the critters.

Tonight was a special "opening ceremony" celebration.  Local kids played traditional instruments, then there was a ceremony that I got to participate in.  Ha a light dinner, finished some blogs, off to bed!

A few dogs joined the ceremony!

Super Moon!

My attempt at an artistic shot...
The super moon through the trees.

Until later!
